Mondrian AI Appoints Sangdon Hwang as CSO, Bringing 28 Years of DX Expertise from Deloitte and POSCO DX
Mondrian AI, an AI transformation (AX) company led by CEO Daehyeon Hong, announced on the 24th that it has appointed Sangdon Hwang, a top-tier global consulting and DX strategy expert, as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to accelerate its global AX business expansion and broaden its reach across industries.
Hwang earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in Management Information Systems from George Washington University in the United States and has built more than 28 years of experience at leading global consulting firms and IT and DX companies in Korea and abroad, establishing himself as a highly accomplished business strategy expert.
Throughout his career, Hwang has held roles at leading global companies including Deloitte Consulting, Kearney, POSCO DX, Samsung SDS, EDS in the United States, and CSC, successfully leading large-scale DX and AX projects for organizations including Samsung Electronics, Doosan, SK, Hana Bank, Shinsegae, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
With Hwang's appointment, Mondrian AI plans to establish a new internal AX consulting organization and focus company-wide capabilities on building a customized end-to-end business framework that goes beyond simply providing AI solutions and platforms.
By strengthening collaboration across its organizations, the company plans to combine opportunities to provide its advanced AI platforms and solutions with its consulting business, maximizing its competitiveness in securing large-scale projects.
