Mondrian AI Launches Manufacturing AX Strategy Consulting Project for TAEWOONG Co., Ltd.

From Integrated Steelmaking and Forging Data Assessment to AI initiative prioritization and an actionable implementation roadmap
Mondrian AI, led by CEO Daeui Hong, was selected as the final consulting firm for TAEWOONG, a global integrated steelmaking company, under the 2026 Busan Corporate Innovation Consulting Support Program. The company has officially begun consulting on TAEWOONG’s manufacturing AX (AI Transformation) strategy.
The program is organized by the Busan Economic Promotion Agency. Through this project, Mondrian AI will develop a practical AI adoption strategy based on data from TAEWOONG’s integrated steelmaking and forging operations.
The consulting project aims to connect production, quality, and equipment data from TAEWOONG’s plants and processes with tangible business outcomes. Using its AX consulting methodology, Mondrian AI will conduct a three-month assessment covering ▲ a customized on-site AX diagnosis ▲ identification of key AI initiatives ▲ business value analysis ▲ and a phased implementation plan.
The assessment will cover key areas of steel manufacturing, including ▲ integrated quality prediction for steelmaking and forging ▲ delivery and production capacity optimization ▲ predictive maintenance for large equipment ▲ intelligent quotation and order support based on drawings and specifications ▲ and product-level carbon and energy data management for environmental compliance.
Mondrian AI will not simply list potential AI technologies. It will interview employees, review production processes, and assess existing data assets. Based on this analysis, the company will evaluate technical feasibility and return on investment (ROI), prioritize AI initiatives, and develop an actionable roadmap.
After completing the consulting project, Mondrian AI will provide a detailed implementation plan, including project specifications and phased budgets. This will allow TAEWOONG to proceed directly with proof-of-concept (PoC) projects and government-supported programs.
